Santa Ana Mountains Traverse • Description

This multi-surface ride starts in Dana Point and leads over the Santa Ana Mountains to Corona, returning on Santa Ana River Trail and Pacific Coast Highway.
After leaving Dana Point, the route follows Pacific Coast Highway, Niguel Road, Camino del Avion, Crown Valley Parkway, and Alicia Parkway. Aliso Creek Trail leads all the way to Cook's Corner. Santiago Canyon Road and Silverado Canyon Road continue on to Blackstar Canyon Road, the base of the climb.
Blackstar Canyon, a dirt road, leads up to the Main Divide, and Skyline Drive leads down to Corona. South Lincoln Avenue, West Ontario Avenue, Paseo Grande, Green River Road, and East La Palma Avenue continue on to the Santa Ana River Trail, which leads all the way to Newport Beach. Pacific Coast Highway connects back to Dana Point.
